Where do you work?

North Africa

Describe what you do.

We live and interact with the people around us, looking for every opportunity to let the love of Jesus shine through us, in word and in deed.

Why did you choose your ministry? What led you to that ministry?

God made it clear to us, speaking through His word and His people, He was calling us to serve in Africa. After serving for many years in East Africa and the last 20 in leadership, we felt that God was asking us to return to the front lines where the need for gospel witness is desperately needed.

When did you make the decision to serve in missions - how old were you?

We were both in our late 20’s

Why did you decide on serving in this way? Why missions?

God spoke to us through His Word and through His people to challenge us and show us this was what He wanted of us. As we asked God what He wanted of our lives, it was clear from scripture that going to the ends of the earth was the part of mission He had for us. We were motivated by a sincere desire to be obedient to God's calling on our lives.

Have you had other occupations?

Between college and going to serve on the field, we pastored in several local churches and J taught in a school.

Hobbies or other interests?

Photography, bird watching, cooking, reading, working with our hands (laser engraving and carving)
