“Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” (Proverbs 4:23)

Where will you serve?

I will serve in Ukraine, working primarily in Kyiv and surrounding regions in cooperation with local Baptist churches.

Describe what you do.

My ministry focuses on orphans and orphan graduates. It will include three phases:

  1. Camps for orphans during school breaks with Christian programs to share the Gospel and build lasting relationships.
  2. Follow-up visits between camps in different cities, offering emotional and spiritual support, Bible studies, and connecting children with local churches.
  3. Serving in Kyiv by providing a temporary home for several orphan graduates, especially girls, helping them transition into adult life, teaching life skills, and discipling them through daily devotions.

Why did you choose your ministry? What led you to that ministry?

God gave me a love for orphans from a very young age. Growing up in a missionary family, I served in camps for orphans in India, Nepal, and later in Ukraine. Each time, I saw how deeply these children longed for love and stability. My experiences in Ukraine especially showed me their need for long-term relationships, not just short-term care. That is why I feel called to dedicate my life to serving them.

When did you make the decision to serve in missions – how old were you?

I grew up with missions, but I made a clear personal decision to serve in missions during college, when I was around 20 years old.

Why did you decide on serving in this way? Why missions?

I believe God calls us to care for the fatherless, and I cannot ignore that call. Missions allow me to bring not only practical help but also the eternal hope of the Gospel to orphans. I want them to know the love of Christ and to be adopted into His family.

Have you had other occupations? What are they?

Yes. I have worked as a barista, and I also served in the Youth Detention Center in Lancaster, PA as part of my internship. Even after my internship ended, I continued visiting weekly to lead Bible studies with troubled teens.

Do you have any hobbies or other interests?

I love dancing, walking, cooking, and anything that keeps me physically active. I’m also very interested in health and nutrition.

Do you have a favorite sport? Favorite team?

I’m not really interested in watching sports. I enjoy being physically active myself, but I don’t follow any specific teams.
